To regain access to either your domain or your US Domain Center account, kindly follow these steps:
- If you’ve lost access to the email address linked to your account or if you’re the domain registrant without access to the associated account, you can submit a request for access.
- Note: If you can access the email associated with your account but can’t sign in, attempt to reset your password first.
- Visit our “Regain Access To My Account” form.
- Choose from options such as Email Access, Domain Access, or 2-Step Verification Access.
- Input one or more domain names associated with your account and proceed.
- If you don’t have any domain names, switch off the “Identify account by domain(s)” toggle. Then, provide your Customer Number and Login Name to proceed.
- Enter your First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and Phone Number, and then proceed.
- If you’re requesting access to a domain, provide an email address different from the one associated with your domain.
- Upload a scanned or digital color photo of your government-issued photo identification. If you’re not the account holder or domain registrant, upload identification for both parties. Once uploaded, proceed.
- Wondering why we need your ID? We require it to ensure that you’re the rightful account owner, safeguarding your account from unauthorized access. Rest assured, your information remains protected and is solely used for verification purposes. For more details, refer to our Terms of Service.
- Verify whether a company is listed as the account holder by selecting Yes or No from the dropdown list, then proceed.
- If Yes, provide the Company Name and upload a government-issued document for company identification.
- Note: We cannot accept Articles of Incorporation or documents sourced from internet websites.
- Optionally, choose Yes or No to cancel 2-step verification for the account and provide any additional information, if needed.
- Proceed to the next step and complete the security challenge by selecting the checkbox next to the agreement(s).
- Finally, select Submit. We’ll contact you directly regarding your request in the order it was received.
